1) About this service
Mooncast Films provides an automated Instagram Direct Message (DM) assistant to help answer common enquiries about wedding videography and to collect basic details (such as wedding date and venue) so we can respond faster.
2) What the chatbot does
The chatbot may:
- reply to common questions (pricing links, collections, general process)
- ask a few questions to understand your plans (date, venue, UK/destination, coverage preferences)
- pass your enquiry to a human if it’s unsure or if you request a human response
3) Availability and pricing
Any availability guidance provided by the chatbot is not a confirmation of booking. We confirm availability manually and in writing.
Pricing links shared in DMs are provided for convenience. Final pricing depends on your plans, coverage, travel and any add-ons, and is confirmed in a written proposal.
4) Your responsibilities
Please don’t share sensitive personal information in Instagram DMs (for example: passport details, payment card details, medical information). If you share information anyway, you do so at your own discretion.
5) Data use and storage
We may store DM message content and the details you provide (for example: date, venue, and budget range) to:
- respond to your enquiry
- improve the chatbot’s answers
- keep a record of your enquiry so we can follow up
