A Beautiful Wedding in Surrey, UK
As an experienced wedding videographer in Surrey, I had the pleasure of filming Catherine and Emily’s stunning wedding. The celebration took place at High Billinghurst Farm, a picturesque venue that perfectly captured the essence of their special day.
The day began early with Catherine and Emily getting ready in Godalming, Surrey. The preparations were filled with excitement and joy as both brides prepared in separate areas of the house. This gave us a chance to capture some beautiful moments with their friends and family.
The ceremony started at 1 pm in a charming rose garden at High Billinghurst Farm. Emily’s cousin, Erica, officiated the ceremony, making it even more personal and heartfelt. The ceremony included touching readings by Emily’s brother Phil, and Catherine’s brothers, Matthew and Louis. They also shared their own vows and signed a ketubah, adding a unique touch to their wedding.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed reception drinks and canapes from 1:30 to 3:30 pm, accompanied by a roaming band that kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The reception continued in the same venue with speeches from Emily, Mark (Catherine’s father), and Emily’s bridesmaids, Claire and Lindsay. These heartfelt speeches added depth to the wedding films we created.
The evening was filled with music and dance. The first dance took place around 6:30 pm, followed by the traditional Jewish dance, Hava Nagila. The celebration continued with a pizza truck arriving at 7 pm to serve guests late-night snacks, ensuring everyone was well-fed and happy.
