A Dream Wedding at Lake Como, Italy
As an experienced wedding videographer in Lake Como, I had the honour of filming Kate and Samuel’s beautiful wedding. The stunning Villa Geno provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.
The day began with Kate getting ready at Villa Geno, while Samuel prepared at a nearby location in Via Giovio, Como. The ceremony started at 3 pm on the grassy area in front of the lake. With a duo of violin and cello playing, it was a romantic setting for their civil ceremony.
One unique feature of their wedding was the groom and groomsmen arriving by boat, adding a touch of excitement for the guests. After the ceremony, an Italian aperitif was served in the garden while the DJ and saxophone player entertained everyone. Meanwhile, Kate and Samuel enjoyed a short boat ride for some picturesque photos.
The reception was also held at Villa Geno. Guests moved to the marquee at 6 pm for the meal and speeches. The groom, father of the bride, and best man gave heartfelt speeches before dinner. The first dance took place at 9 pm under the marquee, followed by the cake cutting in the garden. The celebration continued indoors with dancing and a dessert buffet.
