A Dream Wedding on the Amalfi Coast
As an experienced wedding videographer in Italy, I had the pleasure of filming Alan and Polly’s beautiful wedding on the Amalfi Coast on June 18, 2022. The stunning NH Collection Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi provided a breathtaking backdrop for their special day.
The day began with Polly’s preparations starting at 11 am, followed by Alan’s preparations at 2 pm. The ceremony was a civil one, held at the NH Collection Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi, with a string quartet setting the perfect romantic mood. They had 55 adult guests and 7 kids, making it a cosy and intimate celebration.
The ceremony started at 4:30 pm, with friends and family gathered to witness Alan and Polly’s vows. The hotel’s beautiful architecture and the stunning views of the Amalfi Coast made for an unforgettable setting. As a videographer in Italy, capturing these moments was a joy.
After the ceremony, the reception also took place at the same venue. The guests enjoyed a 5-course meal, with speeches given after the meal by Alan, the best man Mark, the bridesmaids, and Polly’s dad, John. Polly even surprised Alan with a speech, adding a personal touch to the celebration.
The evening continued with a lively first dance at 8:45 pm, followed by music from a DJ and a sax player. This mix of entertainment kept the party going, and we captured many joyful moments on film.
